The property was purchased by the Company in December 2008, ultimately as a development opportunity but in the short to medium term as office premises for the business.
Planning was achieved at appeal in May 2010 for the demolition of the existing building and its replacement with a contemporary building containing 11 luxury apartments – with an anticipated GDV of £2,400,000.
Whitgift Estates Ltd made the decision to sell the consented site and completed the disposal in August 2011.
