Whitgift Estates Ltd agreed the purchase of the St Luke’s Church site subject to acheiving planning for a mixed-use development creating 2 commercial units with 12 no. 2 bedroom apartments above, along with 2 no. 3 bedroom semi-detached houses.

The scheme was supported by the planning officer with a recommendation for approval and achieved a planning consent in 2013.

The site was eventually purchased from the PCC by GB Properties (London) Ltd and they commenced construction during 2015. After a number of lengthy delays the project was completed in January 2017.

Whitgift Estates agreed a deal in September 2015 to purchase all the completed units off-plan. On this basis we have been able to influence aspects of the build and have negotiated an enhanced specification. This mean that the units have been delivered to the market with an exceedingly high level of finish that has become synonamous with a Whitgift Estates property.
